How do I ask a homework question?

You can send questions to AI Homework Tutor in three main ways:

Take a photo of the question directly in the app.
Upload a file, such as a worksheet or PDF.
Type or paste the question into the text box.

After you send the question, the AI analyses it, identifies the important information, and starts building a step-by-step explanation.

How does the AI explain the answer?

HomeTutor is designed to teach, not just solve. For each question, it will:

Identify the topic and key ideas in the problem.
Explain the concept in simple, age-appropriate language.
Show each step clearly, so the child can follow the method.
Give the final answer and, where useful, check the result.

The student can then ask follow-up questions if any step is unclear.

Can I ask follow-up questions?

Yes. After the initial explanation, you can keep chatting with the tutor about the same question. For example:

“I don’t understand step 2, can you explain again?”

“What if the numbers were different?”

HomeTutor will remember the context of the current homework session and adapt the explanation as needed.

HomeTutor focuses primarily on mathematics and related school subjects. This typically includes:

How do homework “sessions” work?

A homework session is a group of messages, images, and explanations related to the same question (or small set of questions). During a session:

You can send follow-up questions about the same problem.
The AI keeps the context so explanations stay on topic.
All messages in the session are linked together in your history.

When you start a new question that is not related to the current one, the app may create a new session so your history remains tidy and easy to review.
