Teaching Games vs Practice Games

Teaching Games:

  • Focus on explaining new concepts
  • Include step-by-step tutorials
  • Provide visual aids and examples
  • Move at a slower, educational pace

Practice Games:

  • Reinforce learned concepts through repetition
  • Include various difficulty levels
  • Feature time challenges and scoring
  • Focus on speed and accuracy
Why Portrait mode

The games started out on a tablet, and they seem to work best in terms of layout and use when the device is in portrait mode.

Web pages are very difficult things to control tightly in terms of layout and what weid things they can do on different browsers on different devices. Even on Apple tablets over the various generations the same web page can behave differently. So we have done our best to lock in the layout so that everything is clearly visible and not moving about which might confuse a child.

Number of Available Games

As of January 2025, we offer 14 different educational games. Our development schedule includes:

  • 2-4 new games added each month
  • Regular updates to existing games
  • New features based on user feedback
What devices are support

The games are web based, that means they use totally standard forms of html, javascript and css. Which means that if the web site loaded correcty into your browser then there will be no problem with the games.

Enabled/Disable the in-game timer

In some games, particularly the Pracitice games, you will see a timer to encourage the child. You can enable or disable the timer by simply clicking on it.

Newsletter frequency

You should only recieve one Newsletter email each month, if for some reason you are getting more than this, let us know and we will fix it.

Why once per month? Well, we understand that you are busy and do not really have the time to read everything you get each day, and it would be difficult for us to write something actually informative and useful more frequently than once a month. So once a month seems the best answer.

Unsubscribe from the Newsletter

In a word, trust.

PayPal is a secure and trusted payment platform.

It offers you the best security in regard to payments.

They do provide support to both customers and vendors and in most cases will deal with any dispute fairly.

  2. We'll terminate your subscription and confirm within one working day

Support for other forms of payment?

Probably, we will add another one or two forms of payment, but it has to be a platform that people have confidence in and protects consumers.

If you really can not deal with Paypal, then send us an email and we can find a solution that works for you.

Client Side Data

As part of our efforts to stop the games being stolen, we implemented a device fingerprint solution to esure that only logged in users can play the games. The signature is generated and stored when you login and validated against when you load a game. The components of the signature are the common elements exposed by all browsers to javascript code that runs in the web page.

This function is essential for the platform to work and is key to our efforts to stop session hijacking and session cloning. So we hope you can understand why this is needed.

Please note that we do NOT give, share or sell data to anyone.
